Mike Wilson is a member of Offshore Passage Opportunities and Kentucky Lake Sailing Club. He has a USCG OUPV Captain's License (Inland) and a 50GT Master's (Inland) #1210429 plus is ASA certified in Basic/Coastal/Bareboat sailing.

Fall 2006 - Newport to Bermuda (Swan 46) crew of 5. Heavy weather; 10-15 ft seas, 40-45 knot winds. About 640 NM.

Spring 2007 - Bermuda to Newport (Swan 46) crew of 5. About 640 NM.

Spring 2007 - Lake Pickwick to Kentucky Lake (Island Packet 29) crew of 3; About 200 NM.

Early Summer 2007 - Pensacola, Fl to Orange Beach to Mobile Bay. Chartered a Beneateu 393 for the week

Fall 2007 - Newport, Rhode Island to Beaufort, N.C. to Tortola, BVI. (Swan 61) Crew of 3. About +1500 NM.

He owns a Catalina 22 on Kentucky Lake and won a long distance race (37miles) in 2007 with one crew. Last year he skippered this race solo. Mike has participated in at least 30 offshore fishing trips in Destin, Fort Myers, Florida Keys and to date. Offshore he is comfortable behind the wheel day or night and seeks more offshore opportunities.

He is an account manager for a computer services company and been in the IT services business for 30 years, 51 years old, married for 24 years with one daughter. He is in good health and fit.

He strives to learn as much as he can from every opportunity and believes in giving 100%. On board he goes out of his way to cooperate and get along with every captain and crew.
